Kim Soom (b. 1974) made her literary debut in 1997, winning the Daejeon Ilbo New Writer’s Contest with her short story ON SLOWNESS.
Since then, she has authored dozens of novels and received numerous prestigious accolades, including the Hyundai Munhak Literary Awards, the Daesan Literary Awards, the Yi Sang Literary Awards, and the Dong-in Literary Awards.
